Who and what is a MIRAM?  

We are a women’s Mardi Gras association based in Orange Beach, AL, but with members from all over Baldwin County and stretching as far as Mobile, Atlanta and Birmingham.  We are a very diverse group of women with members in all areas of business in our communities.  We are mothers, business women, and the working women that are the backbone of our families.  We are so proud of this beautiful paradise where we live, work and play.

Our krewe began in 2006 when our founding members wanted to start a women’s krewe that would be able to parade and ball in a HUGE style…and we accomplished that!  From the beginning of our organization we have had the only all women’s nighttime parade on the island.  Followed by the most beautiful balls held in traditional Mardi Gras fashion.

Our organization is not all about us, even though we do have a great time!  We love our community and strive to give back as much as possible.  With every event we host, we give generous donations to a charity that we choose.  We love to keep our donations local when we can.

We are welcoming new members and would love to have you be a part of our krewe.  We are not only members of the same society, we are friends and neighbors.  As a member of the Mystical Order of Mirams you will become friends with a large group of women and their families.  Many of our members are local business owners and work in local industries.  We network together and support each other.
